Karen_Matt Sheridan's Talk

Matt Sheridan's talk was interesting and inspiring. It was amazing how he has worked on so many different projects, a lot of those being very well known. It was crazy how he jumped from one the to the next. It made me feel a little bit better though knowing that artists can change and have different jobs and want to go in different directions. He made me think that you really want to find that one thing you love to do, and then work and grow from there. Even though he wasn't always confident in his work, other people seemed to respond so positively to it. This makes me want to keep trying no matter what.

Matt's later work was pretty interesting. I liked his collages and his thought process. I thought it was very creative to have a piece where you listen to audio from a number you have to call from your cell phone. I've never had an art experience like that, but it's definitely something I'd like to be able to try.
